Job Opportunity
  • Manage the delivery of operational site security.
  • Leading a large team of security officers in the delivery of a first class security service
  • Manage front of house team that carry out pass office and administrative enquiries
  • Conduct and monitor staff appraisals and encourage further development
  • Oversee Security Systems, troubleshoot and Triage system faults or failures,
  • Implementation of policies, SOP’s, AI’s, emergency preparedness etc.
  • Incident management and response
  • Safeguarding of various assets to include people, buildings and information
  • Assist with the long term strategic planning of the security function
  • Cross functional working with the Property and Facilities teams.
  • Conducting risk assessments and threat analysis across the estate

Essential Skills
  • Valid SIA Licence
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • 5-year checkable work history
  • Able to achieve BPSS/SC Clearance
  • Prior security management experience is essential. In particular, experience leading large site based teams is preferred.
  • Available for out of hour emergencies and escalation (this could include weekends) To be able to demonstrate the management key principles within a Corporate Security environment.
  • Practical, robust, ‘hands on’ leadership experience and abilities allied to the energy to overcome difficulties and offer innovative solutions while managing BAU.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and under pressure when required.
  • Able to negotiate and deal with sensitive and confidential matters with tact and discretion.
  • Adaptable and responsive in the face of changes in priorities, plans and schedules.
  • Acting as Tactical Lead where required.
