We are currently working with a well-respected Further Education college in Kent who are looking for an experienced Maths Lecturer to join their college on a full-time basis from September.

 The Role

In this role you will be a Maths Lecturer teaching GCSE and functional skills courses for post-16 learners. Students at the college will be undertaking vocational courses and where required, are supported to re-take GCSE and functional skills courses. You’ll be required to prepare, teach and assess at a variety of levels, providing support and guidance to your learners as they progress through their studies.

You will join a supportive core subjects’ team and will have good support from the senior leadership team.

 The school are looking for a maths teacher with the following:

  • QTS / QTLS / unqualified teachers with extensive maths teaching experience
  • Maths Specialism
  • A proactive and engaging teaching approach
  • Ability to use ICT effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to people at all levels
  • Excellent administration skills and the ability to meet deadlines
