We're looking for a driver who can be our go-to person for ad-hoc shifts - work when you can and help us provide a high standard of professional driver to their team.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 driver to work for our timber merchant client based in Halifax. Regular work will be available due to the holiday and sickness cover need for a large fleet.

What you need to know:

  • Start times: Usually between 06.00 - 07.00am
  • Shift pattern: Ad hoc shifts between Monday and Friday
  • Workload: Between 4 and 8 drops per shift depending on location of deliveries. Deliveries to be made to both commercial and private customers.

What you must have:

  • Must hold a valid HGV UK license for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Must have experience driving a HGV vehicle within the last six months, ideally 12 months.
  • Must have no more than 6 points on license for minor offences.
  • Must hold an in date Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Must have an up-to-date CPC Qualification Card.
