Frontend Developer

Our client, a cutting-edge AI startup SAAS platform, is seeking an experienced and autonomous frontend developer to take ownership of their newest and most exciting product. The primary focus is on redesigning and adding new functionality to scalable customer-facing software, often building new code from scratch rather than maintaining or updating the existing product.

This front-end development role is ideal for a self-starter looking to thrive in a small, decision-making-oriented environment with significant product development input. There is substantial potential for personal growth and the opportunity to step into a leadership role if desired. The company's roadmap includes expanding the product, introducing new ones, and growing the engineering team. They provide in-house and external training opportunities to support your development.

The ideal candidate should have substantial experience (ideally 4+ years) with React, specialising in TypeScript and modern JavaScript technologies, including Node.js and WebPack. Proficiency in working with RESTful interfaces and API design is essential. Furthermore, experience in designing UI components using tools like Figma and a strong passion for creating maintainable and scalable software are key. While experience with real-time applications and data visualisation is a plus, it is not mandatory. Previous experience working in AI, SAAS, and B2B product environments is also advantageous.

In addition to technical skills, the ideal frontend developer should possess a product-oriented mindset, always keeping the end user in mind. Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including working alongside the CTO, are highly valued.
