Product & Precision Representatives (Carlisle & Dumfries Depots) Cornthwaite Group are a leading supplier of global agricultural and horticultural brands, and we employ over 140 people throughout our five depots. We support our customers with quality products, outstanding aftersales and leading technology solutions. Our Product & Precision team are responsible for supporting our customers with all aspects of the John Deere Precision Ag portfolio and John Deere product range. They demonstrate, handover and optimise tractors, telehandlers, and Precision Ag features. The main aim for this role is to ensure customers achieve the best performance from their equipment. We are looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active individual to join us, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if this role is of interest to you.Main Responsibilities:
  • To demonstrate and handover equipment directly with customers.
  • Support the Sales Team by providing in depth product knowledge when required.
  • Analyse machine and field data to help customers become more efficient.
  • Promote and demonstrate the benefits of John Deere Precision Ag.
  • Advise customers on machine optimisation to achieve optimal machine performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Cornthwaite Group staff and customers.
Attributes we are looking for:
  • A proactive individual who can work on their own and as part of a group.
  • Previous operator experience working in a contracting or farming business.
  • Structured work approach with the ability to prioritise.
  • Ability to use a computer and standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good written and oral communication skills as well as presentation skills.
  • Ability to responsibly operate agricultural machinery on the road and on customers farms.
