North Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Trust is seeking a permanent dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead our Estates Project Management Service.
The ideal individual will have exceptional knowledge of construction practices for this technically based role, prior experience of construction, mechanical or electrical services is essential along with demonstrable project management. You will have the ability to manage the backlog and maintenance program of works assisting the Head of Capital Services and Group Deputy Director of Estates to develop and deliver the Estates Strategy.

Main duties of the job
Be responsible for the successful delivery of estates / capital projects.
Ensure continuous improvement of the project delivery process.
Will provide effective communications with staff employed throughout the Directorate and promote good employee relations.
Develop and promote links and relations with key stakeholders and users at all levels across the Trust and extending to external agencies and groups.
Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels. When appropriate chair Project Team Meetings and attend others as required under a delegated role on behalf of the Head of Capital Services and Group Deputy Director of Estates Projects.

Job description
Job responsibilities
Manage the delivery of allocated projects within the Trusts Capital Program, ensuring projects are delivered effectively, on time, within budget and to the required standards.
Ensure effective planning, monitoring,and reporting on projects includingcost, progress, quality,and risks.
WorkwiththeHead of Capital ServicesinthedeliveryoftheBLMschemes and the Group Deputy Director of Capital Services
BeresponsibleformanagementofaCapitalProjectManagementTeam BLM project team.
Supportthe Trustscapital planning teaminthe developmentof future schemes.
Work with the wider estates maintenance team to ensure projects are delivered compliant with legislation, HTMs, HBNs etc., utilising specialist advice ( AP/AEs) and design consultants.
Work closely with all directorates across the Trust, both clinical and non-clinical to ensure full stakeholder engagement.
Providing expertadvice and guidance on technical and complex building management issues, identifying solutions to ensure changes are fit for purpose, overcoming any barriers or contentious issues that may arise.

Essential
Degree in Engineering or Building, Building Services or Construction Management or an equivalent professional qualification or equivalent experience working at a senior level in a related specialist area. Management qualification or equivalent experience. Managing tender processes, business case development. Working with highly complex projects. Proven track record of planning, managing and successfully delivering complex projects Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products or similar to produce detailed project management reports
Desirable
Experience in planning, designing and commissioning health care projects Experience at a senior level in planning or capital projects/estates management. Project Management qualification
