Job Title: Construction Manager MEICA

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Construction Manager MEICA to lead our team of engineers and contractors in the successful delivery of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation (MEICA) projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects with a strong understanding of MEICA systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of MEICA projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure that project requirements are fully understood and met.
  • Manage project risks and issues, taking appropriate action to mitigate or resolve them as necessary.
  • Monitor project progress against key performance indicators, reporting regularly to senior management.
  • Ensure that health, safety, and environmental requirements are fully integrated into the project delivery process.
  • Manage and develop a team of engineers and contractors, providing leadership and guidance as required.
  • Ensure that all MEICA systems are installed and commissioned to the required standard, and that all relevant documentation is provided to the client.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing construction projects in the construction industry, with a focus on MEICA systems.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
  • Willingness to travel to construction sites as required.
