We are looking for

Volunteers with: A willingness to participate in patient led assessments of the care environment.  Good observing and feedback skills. Good social interaction and engagement with patients. Patience and understanding of the needs of patients in a hospital setting, taking direction from ward staff as required Going on ‘a journey’ as a patient through our hospitals, and then provide feedback on your experience. Observing and providing feedback on the quality of the environment and how staff communicate with you and help our patients and visitors. This will include interaction with patients and staff 
members. Carrying out face to face patient interviews. Participating in the ‘15 Steps Challenge’. Taking part in the Clinical Accreditation process. Participating in PLACE assessments (patient led assessment of the care environment.  Working individually, in pairs or in teams. Reading pre-prepared literature in preparation for undertaking My Journey. Taking part in training and support sessions.
