Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Year 4 Class Teacher looking for a new full-time role? Step Teachers are working with a fantastic school in South Ockendon in search of a temporary Year 4 supply teacher starting in May 2024. This 'Good' Ofsted-rated school prides its children on being happy, and confident and sharing a passion for learning and they are excited for a new Year 4 Class teacher to join their team. 

Year 4 Class Teacher Role:
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
  • Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
 Year 4 Class Teacher Requirements: 
  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
  • Have strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Have recent experience as a Year 4 Class Teacher in a primary school
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
