We have a Fixed Term Appointment for a Cardiology Fellow. This post will give dedicated high-intensity training in cardiology and would be suitable for trainees who have at least 3-4 years of General Cardiology experience. This post may be undertaken by trainees who are already in an SpR/ST7 position (as part of an out of programme experience) or may also be suitable for trainees who have completed their CCT in Cardiology. Main duties of the job The post holder will spend 4-5 sessions per week undertaking cardiology outpatients, providing an expected - appointments per month. The remaining sessions will be discussed at interview but could include heart failure, cardiac imaging, inpatients, pacing and PCI. We will work with you where possible to meet training needs in addition to the outpatient sessions however, this will be dependant on experience and consultant availability for supervision.
