About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Geography lessons to inspire and challenge students across KS3 and KS4 (and potentially KS5).
  • Develop a strong, positive rapport with students to foster a love of learning and geographical exploration.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress, ensuring all learners achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.

About You:
We are looking for a Geography Teacher who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Has a strong academic background in Geography or a related field.
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
  • Is committed to raising standards and supporting the progress of all learners.
  • Possesses strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to teaching.
  • Has prior teaching experience in secondary education (preferred but not essential for exceptional candidates).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
