SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Location: Sleaford
  • Salary: £83.33 - £90.00 per day
  • Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Sleaford. This is an excellent opportunity to support students and help them reach their full potential.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of pupils with a variety of special educational needs. You’ll be working closely with teachers and other staff members to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment for all.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Assist students with individual needs, including those with autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students.
  • Encourage students to develop independence and confidence.
  • Help maintain a positive, supportive, and safe learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children with special needs.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A relevant qualification or experience working with children in an SEN setting.
