Based at Northampton Dialysis Unit

We are looking for an enthusiastic well motivated Health Care Assistant to work in our Nurse led Haemodialysis Satellite Unit based in Northampton. These are exciting times with the unit having relocated to new premises in May 2023 which enables us to increase patient capacity.

You must have experience working in the NHS and ideally hold an NVQ3 or equivalent. Previous experience in renal / Haemodialysis is desirable but not essential, as training will be given. The team that you will be joining is dedicated to training and promoting your continuous professional development.

The successful candidate will be flexible, demonstrate excellent communication skills, a commitment to personal and professional development and a desire to provide a high standard of care delivery to chronically ill patients.

Main duties of the job

Caring for patients receiving Haemodialysis Commencing and discontinuing Dialysis Monitoring patients during Dialysis Ensuring unit is well stocked Maintaining a safe environment by ensuring equipment cleaned regularly. Assisting Registered Nurses when needed. Act as a effective member of the team
