About The Role

**Please note that this vacancy requires the successful candidate to work 37 hours per week, 39 weeks during term time and the salary will be £17,460 pro rata per annum.

A holiday payment of £2,356 will be paid equally in your twelve monthly salary payments in addition to the pro rata salary above.**

About You

We are looking for an experienced Nursery Practitioner with the knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality care and education, and make a difference in children's lives. There is a possibility for this role to be 52 weeks per year, but this can be discussed at interview.

You must have experience with working within a nursery environment and an understanding of the EYFS. The position will be required to take on a key person role in delivering high-quality early years education, working in partnership with parents/carers and implementing welfare requirements to the highest standards.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively at all levels including professional, practitioner level and to engage with children, parents and families. You will also be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of child development and children’s needs, whilst having knowledge of relevant health and safety, and the proven ability to act upon this to ensure the environment is always safe.
You will understand policies and procedures in relation to equality and inclusive practice, and be able to implement this in their work. You will also be comfortable to take on other responsibilities as deemed necessary.
