Role Overview:Logistics Manager

As our Logistics Manager you will play apivotal role in setting up managing and expanding our new 16000 sqft warehouse. Leading a core operations team you will oversee thegrowth of our inventory and the scaling of our operations. Thisincludes introducing refurbishment capabilities such as cleaningreupholstery and renovation. Your leadership will ensure we meetour ambitious targets for inventory turnover and revenue growthwhile maintaining our reputation for quality andsustainability.

KeyResponsibilities:

Leadership and TeamManagement: Lead and develop a growing team ensuringhigh levels of motivation efficiency and skill development. Planfor team expansion and the integration of refurbishmentcapabilities.

Operational Excellence:Manage warehouse operations to ensure scalablegrowth allowing for smooth handling of approximately 500 newarrivals per month and 500 sales per month. Implement systems andprocesses for inventory management order fulfilment andrefurbishment.

Quality Control:Maintain the highest standards of care for all items overseeing thepreparation repair and refurbishment of preownedfurniture.

Inventory Management:Oversee the management and expansion of ourinventory from 400 to approximately 2000 pieces utilisingtechnology to track analyse and optimise warehouselogistics.

Strategic Planning:Work closely with senior management to alignwarehouse operations with our growth objectives. Contribute tostrategic decisions regarding logistics inventory expansion andoperational scaling.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in warehousemanagement within a logistics environment handling highvalueitems.
  • Experience inleading and developing teams with excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills.
  • Strong organisational and project managementskills with a keen eye for detail and a focus on efficiency andquality.
  • Technological proficiency particularly ininventory management systems and collaborativetools.
  • A backgroundin logistics supply chain management freight or related fields ishighly desirable.
