Our global business seeks to recruit a permanent Accounts Receivable Supervisor within our Shawbury based Finance department. You will be responsible for supervising a small team, fostering a strong team culture and delivering excellence as a support function to the business.

Your key responsibilities will include;

Supervise the Accounts Receivable team, ensuring deadlines & targets are routinely met Evaluate and promote team performance through the use of KPI's – leading with passion, addressing training needs and development using tools such as our employee appraisal system Manage the set-up and approval of new customer accounts (including managing any associated portals) and amendments to existing accounts Liaising with internal and external clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient process – through timely resolution of queries and processes, championing client experience as a top priority Ensure that all AR documents and transactions are processed in an efficient and accurate manner. Seek improvements through the use of new smart technologies. Maintain clean ledgers, reviewing ageing reports and providing appropriate commentary. Monitor adherence to credit limits and highlight any non-compliance. Monitor transactions for compliance with VAT regulations

Qualifications & Experience

Mathematics at GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent
• Ideally AAT qualified, or a Member of Chartered Institute of Credit Management (or equivalent)
• An in depth of knowledge of Sales Ledger and Credit Control function gained through experience
• Strong customer service ethos
• Experience leading or supervising a small team
• Experience of working in a high volume multi-currency services business would be desirable
