Ardingly College is seeking to appoint an afternoon minibus driver to transport students on regular bus routes from Ardingly College.  This role is initially offered on a job share basis, during term time only, although we may also consider applications for full time.

Applicants are required to fulfil the following criteria in order to be considered for this position:


  • hold an endorsement free UK driving license with Category D1 or Category PCV
  • be available to work every week day when the College is in session (normally 165 days per year)
  • have 2 years driving experience

The applicant should also be presentable, polite, reliable, punctual and able to work without supervision.

Routes are between 5.15pm to 7.45pm Monday to Thursday, and 4.15pm to 6.45pm on Fridays, during term time only.

As a job share, the hours are split equally, typically requiring someone to work two afternoons one week and three the next.

Rate of pay: £12.66 per hour plus paid holiday entitlement.
