Nursery Teaching Assistant / Early Years Practitioner - SN3

 

Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of young children? My client is seeking a passionate Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their nurturing team. This is your chance to work in a warm and supportive environment where you'll help shape the foundation of learning for children aged 2 to 4 years. Join a team that values collaboration, creativity, and the joy of early childhood education. This role is available on a part-time basis for 22.5 hours per week, working 8:30am - 1pm Monday - Friday.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • Engaging with children in activities that promote their emotional, physical, and cognitive development
  • Assisting in planning and delivering learning activities, under the direction of a qualified teacher
  • Maintaining a safe and positive environment that encourages learning and cooperation
  • Building strong relationships with children, ensuring they feel valued and supported
  • Assisting with behavior management and implementing positive reinforcement strategies

  • Passionate about early childhood education and working with young children
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and kind-hearted with a commitment to the children’s well-being
  • Comfortable with providing intimate care for nursery pupils
  • Able to uphold and support Catholic values and ethos in your daily work
