Key Responsibilities - Year 2/3 Teaching Assistant:

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.

  • The Year 2/3 Teaching Assistant must be able to assist with classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment. 
  • The Teaching Assistant must assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers.

Requirements - Year 2/3 Teaching Assistant:

  • Good knowledge of Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK-based educational setting is essential.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable.
  • Verifiable references from previous employers or placements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Passion for education and supporting the learning journey of students.
  • Experience in SEN is essential.
