The position of Class 1 Driver involves:

Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security. Deliveries and collections to and from businesses. Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone. Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations. Attending regular training sessions.

Essential skills required for Class 1 Driver:

Must have a UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence. Hold a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Experience of fridge trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. Be passionate about providing excellent customer service. Working to deadlines. Confident, polite and a team player. Good geographical knowledge. Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
