Hours of Work:

Working our Panama shifts:

Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 56 HoursWeek 2 Wednesday and Thursday – 24 Hours

Monday to Friday are 12 hour shifts, Saturday and Sunday are 10 hour shifts

Purpose of the Role :

The mechanical installation, maintenance production equipment, to the standards expected in the food industry.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Breakdown repair, machine setting, changeover and running maintenance and plant services equipmentPreventative maintenance & Installation of new machinerySetting and monitoring of machinery where requiredThe correct working and maintenance of all guarding systemsThe continuous improvement of all machinery To follow set procedures for permit to work, job recording, fire alarm muting, Health & Safety and Hygiene set systems of workTo maintain all machinery to the standards expected in the food industry Fabrication workWilling to undertake any training required for the roleMilling / Turning / Welding/ Pneumatics / Hydraulics / Bench Fitting

Qualifications / Experience:

Fully completed Apprenticeship is essentialInstallation and commissioning experience essentialGood communication and good IT skillsAbility to work to and deliver on competing deadlinesAbility to effectively in a team environment, including cross functionsA strong, confident communicatorEnthusiastic and innovative team player
