A prestigious and high-achieving secondary school in Slough is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Drama to join its permanent staff from September. Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and inspiring drama lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
*Develop and implement a dynamic curriculum that stimulates students' creativity and love for drama.
*Assess, monitor, and report on students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
*Organize and oversee school drama productions, workshops, and extracurricular activities.
*Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning and school-wide events.
*Foster a positive classroom environment that nurtures student participation and growth.
*Stay abreast of the latest developments in drama education and integrate best practices into teaching.

Requirements:
*A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Proven experience teaching drama at the secondary school level.
*Strong knowledge of the drama curriculum and assessment methods.
*Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
*A passion for the performing arts and a commitment to extra-curricular drama activities.
*Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
