Job Duties:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to reception students
  • Assess and monitor student progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with reception-aged children
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of child development theories
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Proficiency in classroom management techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Training in phonics and early literacy development
Working Conditions:
  • Regular school hours with occasional evening or weekend work for parent meetings or events
  • Collaborative work environment with supportive staff
