What you will be doing:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Distribution and Logistics. In this role, you will be accountable for all aspects of the warehousing and logistical functions of the business.

This notably includes; establishing and managing our European distribution and logistics model; and optimising our existing warehouse operations (Cork, Chester).

London is the preferred role location; however other locations may be considered.

Requirements

As the Head of Distribution and Logistics, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products are delivered efficiently and effectively to our customers while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise our distribution network, manage inventory, and implement best practices for supply chain management.

  • Lead warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and distribution
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements related to logistics and warehousing
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the whole supply chain; identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments (such as sales and product) to align logistics operations with overall business objectives, and plan inventory levels
  • Monitor and take relevant action upon key performance indicators (KPIs) related to hardware development timelines, product quality, and supply chain efficiency

Who you are:

  • Proven track record of at least 8 years in distribution and logistics management
  • In-depth knowledge of distribution and logistics best practices, industry trends, and regulations (experience of setting up international warehouses preferred)
  • Experience with implementing and optimising transportation and warehouse management systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive operational efficiencies and changes
  • Experience working with ERP systems to facilitate global distribution of products
  • Experience of inventory management and returns merchandise processes
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field
