Job Title Senior SHE Advisor | Location Buchanan Tower Business Park, Stepps, G33 6HZ

As our next Senior Safety, Health, and Environment Advisor, you'll be leading the way in providing support and guidance to operational teams, management and clients on SHE performance and providing root cause analysis to aid relevant coaching and feedback. You will be responsible for advising the Operational Teams on their legal obligations, providing SHE support to operatives. Reporting on performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be experienced in working with a team of Health and Safety professionals. Your role is to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and contract processes, and to establish and implement measures to rectify any gaps in safety systems. You will also be tasked with developing practices to support a zero incident culture and auditing SHE programmes for compliance with company standards and government regulations.

You're not the type to shy away from responsibility or challenges. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and implement safety measures, undertake regular site inspections, and investigate incidents. You will be given the chance to make a real difference and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for all.

As a Senior SHE Advisor, you are dedicated to ensuring the safety of all people in the workplace, and you would thrive on the opportunity to drive continuous improvement in SHE performance. Your remit will include providing guidance and support to operational teams, monitoring performance, and implementing measures to rectify any deficiencies in safety systems.

The Key Requirements...

Knowledge of legislative requirements and best practice in safety, health, environment and quality NEBOSH General Certificate Experience of audits, inspections and recommending preventative action Experience of CDM Regulations Quality auditor or a solid understanding A full and valid UK driving licence Strong communicator with an ability to manage SHE matters Strong analytical and IT skills with the ability to produce plans, spreadsheets, reports, alerts and presentations Experienced SHE professional in operating in large projects with the ability to strategically champion the contractual SHE plans
