Position: Field ServiceTechnician

Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning and Warranty of locomotives and/orcoaches.
  • Troubleshooting and analysis offailures on locomotives or coaches.
  • Performwith the use of mechanical drawings schematics and location circuitplans electrical and mechanical repairs of variouscomponents.
  • Use laptops with subsystemsoftware to troubleshoot various systems onboard thelocomotives.
  • Diagnose electrical malfunctionsin locomotive or coach control circuits and components assess thenature of problems and identify corrective actionneeded.
  • Read interpret and understand writtenor electronic information to identify the Root cause of a failuresand compile reports for your site lead and warrantymanager.
  • Implementation of Field Modifications(FMIs) to improve the quality of our product.
  • Document failures part exchanges implementation of FMIsand your performed work in our Commissioning and Warranty database.
  • Communicate in a team to the site leadand colleagues verbally and in writing technical information jobprocedure recommendations improvements and other workrelatedinformation.
  • Receive and send out failed partsfor repair. RMA
  • Required Knowledge/SkillsEducation and Experience
  • High school diploma(or GED)
  • Interpersonal skills and ability towork in team
  • Individual must possess a validDrivers license in good standing.
