The role
As a Senior Human Factors Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. As a member of our supportability discipline, you’ll be part of an international company that’s continually innovating. Our aspirations are big, and you’ll help make them possible.

Day-to-day, you’ll work directly with our design teams, both in-house and with our partners, to ensure that human factors are considered as early as possible in our solutions as well as:

Working with our Human Factors Specialist to ensure that human factors is considered in training courses, maintenance, and other support activities Managing and delivering the dedicated human factors elements of projects and programmes 


This role is full time, thirty-seven hours per week and is remote but you must be able to travel to our Bristol, Tewkesbury and Plymouth sites when required.


Essential experience of the Senior Human Factors Engineer 

You will require a broad knowledge of ergonomics and human factors engineering and a track record of delivering human factors programmes and influencing design Able to advise on appropriate methodologies and approaches to enable requirements to be satisfied Have developed solutions for clients, showing how needs will be met Apply human factors integration to defence engineering projects Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to justify your engineering decisions and considerations


Qualifications for the Senior Human Factors Engineer 

You will most likely hold a relevant technical degree and be working towards relevant professional registration with the CIEHF
