We areworking with avibrant and fun primary school based in Lewisham seeking aproactive and emotionally intelligent ReceptionTeacher.

Responsibilities of aReceptionTeacher:

  • As a Reception Teacher you will be responsible for thepastoral care of children taking their first steps in Early YearsFoundation Stage promoting teamwork and cultivating a conducivelearning environment.
  • Teaching the Early YearsFoundation Stage curriculum to groups of children while alsofocusing on each individual childs learning targets encouragingtheir strengths and improving their weaknesses
  • Further developing maths ability and introducingfractions statistics and geometry
  • Helpchildren develop their writing ability by creating plots charactersand settings for stories.
  • Keeping track ofchildrens progress and occasionally reporting back toparents
