The Role

NHS Lanarkshire are looking to recruit a Cardiac Physiologist based in University Hospital Hairmyres within the Medical Cardiology Department. As a Cardiac Physiologist you will rotate through specialist sub section areas, perform & assist in the delivery of the full range of Cardiac investigations & therapies and supervise and participate in the education of trainee technical staff.

What we'll need you to bring

B.Sc. in Clinical Physiology or equivalent (HNC in clinical physiology and additional theoretical knowledge gained through professional examinations e.g. - Associate membership Society for Cardiological Science and Technology ) Completion of 2 years practical training Able to perform a broad range of Cardiological Investigations. IT skills Advanced Life Support / Intermediate Life Support certificate Evidence of continuing professional development across a range of topics at study days & short courses

Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based in Department of Medical Cardiology within University Hospital Hairmyres

The working pattern for this role Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 4.45pm
