About The Job:The Production Manager will be responsible for a team of 20 staff within the factory

You will be responsible for:
  • Managing production schedules
  • Manage labour budgets and KPIs linked to Safety, Quality, People, Sustainability and Performance
  • Implementing / managing quality control procedures
  • Ensure client orders are completed on time and that quality standards and targets are met
  • Collate and analyse data, putting together production reports
  • Supervise and motivate a team of workers
  • Review employee performance
  • Undertaking and managing of monthly stock counts
  • Ensure Goods in and Dispatch processes are upheld, including the use of daily check lists
Full-time permanent role

Salary £50,000 per annum

Mon to Fri

About You:
  • We are looking for an experienced Production Manager who has experience within a joinery / bespoke manufacturing background.
  • Accuracy is key within this role, we are looking for someone that can manage a bespoke production process from beginning to end, including all staff etc
  • The ideal candidate will be a person manager, who has great leadership skills & he ability to lead from the front.
  • Ability to ‘get things done' in an efficient and timely manner
  • Must be able to work proactively and under pressure
  • Excellent reporting skills with a keen eye for attention to detail
  • Experience with continuous improvement techniques, Lean & Six sigma a distinct advantage

Essential:
  • Previous experience creating and maintaining production schedules
  • Experience working with timber and painting systems, including the use of spray booths
  • Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience building and managing teams of production employees.
