We are currently looking for a 3rd Chef at Quarry House in Fishponds.

Responsibilities and duties for the 3rd Chef role are:

  • Prepare and serve meals to residents and staff according to pre-set menus
  • Order stock, ensuring availability of ingredients and receiving stock
  • Manage food storage according to EH regulations
  • Stock rotation and wastage control
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and Infection control

Requirements for the 3rd Chef role:

  • Current food hygiene certificate would be useful but training to be given
  • Experience of cooking in a care home or similar environment would be ideal but not essential
  • Good spoken and written English

Pay:

As an employee (Age 23 years +) you will earn

  • Salary: From £12.00 per hour (Age 21+)
  • 10% increase on any weekend hours worked
  • 50% extra pay on Bank Holidays
