Senior .NET Software Engineer

As a Senior C# .NET Software Engineer within our Growth Domain, your work will be the face of one of the world’s leading food delivery companies – primarily in our partners’ menus. Your main focus will be enhancing and expanding their product catalog to drive an increase in the menu-to-basket conversion rate. In this role, you will be tasked with developing and refining scalable, high-quality software solutions that serve a diverse global market.
This will include creating and improving various back-end components for company projects, utilizing technologies such as C#, .NET, GitHub CI, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with team members across diverse, multi-located hubs, working together to design and implement integrated solutions
- Implement new features, ensuring established code quality standards.
Here’s what we’re looking for from our Senior .NET Software Engineer:
- 5+ years of experience in C# and .NET Core;
- Clear understanding of the wider engineering test strategy
- Demonstrates a secure coding-led approach to work within their team.
- Be comfortable with working across multiple technology stacks, or open to learning new technologies
- Be knowledgeable in various database systems, including RDBMS and NoSQL databases, with the ability to design and interact with complex data models;
- Have strong foundations in software engineering principles and best practices, including but not limited to data structures, design patterns, microservice and event-driven architectures, object-oriented design, and code optimization;
- Be proficient in DevOps practices, with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, etc;
- Write clear, maintainable, well-documented code;
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrated by the ability to foster effective relationships with engineering teams and stakeholders;
- Be capable of mentoring junior engineers, sharing technical expertise, and leading technical discussions, thereby enhancing code quality and promoting a collaborative team environment;
- Plan and estimate proficiently, with a proactive approach to navigating challenges;
- Have high motivation and passion for contributing to the company's vision and developing its products;
- Use a flexible approach to collaborative software development;
- Be willing to learn and grow professionally in a team environment;
- Speak and write in English fluently, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
Would be nice if you also had the following:
- Experience in cloud application development (AWS)
- Familiarity with container orchestration:k8s (EKS, GKE) or similar (Swarm, OpenShift)
- Experience with working on global enterprise solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and cost optimizations
