Job Description

To be part of the team producing peptides at Cambridge Research Biochemicals – supplier of custom peptides to the research community in both Pharma and academia.

Role: The synthesis of peptides and post synthesis modifications is a vital process for CRB and it is crucial for the company that we synthesis good quality peptides and we deliver to our customers on time.

Synthesis of peptides using both automated peptide synthesisers and manual procedures. Cleavage of peptides from resin supports In-process synthesis, analysis by HPLC and mass spectrometry. Carrying out post synthesis modification of peptides, cyclisations, and attachment of dyes.

You should hold a degree in chemistry and have practical experience in synthetic chemistry.

You will be an enthusiastic, organised and practical person who enjoys problem solving and working in a team.

You will be reliable, hardworking and willing to learn from others. You will be committed to meeting the needs of the research clients within a service environment.
