Location: Corby, Northants with hybrid working - our Commercial teams collaborate onsite with each other on a Monday and Tuesday. Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required.
Role Type: Permanent, 28 hours per week – speak to us about how this could work for you, we’re open to whether this is split across 5 days a week or potentially 4 days a week (Friday’s will need to be included as part of your working week)
What will I be doing?
This is your opportunity to create and shape a robust PR plan and process, that delivers a strong pipeline of PR activity across both organic and paid for media. You’ll have a natural ability to forge credible relationships and a network of journalists and media contacts across relevant industries and outlets. Through this network you’ll acquire coverage that not only share the stories of our Consultants and their dieters, but also work with key stakeholders on thought leadership and benefits of our products.
Everything you do will help drive brand credibility, supported by our PR agency and wider commercial teams. You’ll also:
- Take ownership for the delivery of our annual Slimmer’s Award showcase, driving coverage through our partners and continuous improvements
- Organise and attend PR photo shoots / events, including arranging external suppliers
- Source the right stories/case studies from dieters and consultants
- Oversee development of all PR publications and assets, leveraging coverage across all relevant media outlets (print & digital)
Am I the right person for this job?
This is both a strategic and operational delivery-based role that will require extensive, demonstrable experience within the PR field, even better if that’s within a related industry (i.e. FMCG, Wellness, Direct Sales etc).
You’ll be able to showcase how you’ve successfully utilised contacts and relationships within the media to deliver a strong pipeline of PR activity with measurable success.
It goes without saying, that your ability to craft compelling stories and narratives through creative writing will be a key success factor.
Having a flexible approach will also be key to enable you to manage and support events, campaigns and associated PR activity across the UK.,
