The Viator Platform product team is seekingan experienced and enthusiastic Senior Product Director to lead theteam on a mission to place Viator at the center of the Experiencesecosystem by solving the complex underlying problems of theindustry by building unmatched capabilities and leveraging theexponential problemsolving power of an open ecosystem throughrobust APIs. You will be part of a dynamic fun and energetic teamwhere you can immediately make meaningful contributions and grow asa senior product management leader.

In this roleyou will manage a group of product managers working at the corepart of our platform developing capabilities in the areas such asbooking management logistics and pricing. Rather than creating asingular offering for one group of customers you will focus onbuilding an ecosystem that enables others to create exponentialvalue.

What you willdo

  • Led key initiativesacross all areas of Viator platform such as booking managementlogistics pricing product categorisation and communication betweentravelers and suppliers
  • Manage a group ofproduct managers split into several functionalareas
  • Build new capabilities or optimizeexisting products to drive the business forward against establishedrevenue and growth goals and ensure its done in a scalable andflexible way
  • Build investment cases for yourproduct in collaboration with productleadership
  • Define success metrics KPIs andmonitor ongoing product performance taking action where necessaryto improve performance
  • Set the delivery planand roadmap for your product prioritizing deliverables andactivities for the team to best achieve the stated businessoutcomes
  • Lead collaboration with engineeringmarketing legal and other teams on cuttingedgetechnologies.
  • Develop innovative solutions tocomplex problems by collaborating across regions product areas andfunctions.
  • Partner with experience teams toexpand our ecosystem through a set of robustAPIs

What were lookingfor

  • Required

  • 12years of product management experience using agilemethodologies

  • 5 years ofexperience in people management and technicalleadership

  • Productmanagement experience in platform teams working on capabilities andfeatures that were used by other internal teams and/orpartners

  • Excellentcommunication skills

  • Abilityto influence multiple stakeholders achieve strategic goals andevolve product based on research data and industrytrends

  • Experience creatingproduct roadmap(s) from conception to launch driving the productvision and defining the GTMstrategy

  • Strong logicalreasoning attention to detail and problemsolvingskills

  • Curiosity drivenmindset that seeks to understand customer and technical problemsand strives to builds capabilities that solve for thoseproblems

  • Completelycomfortable with using data and data tools to build understandingand insight

  • Goal orientationand demonstrated record of success in previous endeavors; motivatedto deliver exceptional results driven by a strong workethic

  • Beneficial

  • Mastersdegree in a technology or business relatedfield.

  • Strong technicalknowhow with an excellent understanding of web & apptechnologies

  • Familiaritywith data insight tools such asTableau

  • Experience workingin twosidedmarketplaces
