Work in conjunction with the Crown Office Procurators Fiscal Service, Scottish Court Service, Scottish Police Authority and other Court Agencies in a liaison capacity, to provide information on the optimum availability of Police Scotland personnel required as court witnesses. Carry out administrative duties in relation to police witnesses on court standby, logging telephone calls and numbers for officers' whereabouts whilst on standby. Dealing with all aspects of the Police witness Excusal system.
