We embrace a hybrid work environment. Within this role, you would work 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday) in either our London or Brighton office and the remaining days at home.

Job Purpose

We are looking for Senior Graphics Engineer (Unreal) to join us in creating Star Wars™: Hunters, a competitive arena combat game for the Nintendo Switch system and mobile devices. Star Wars: Hunterswill bring players together to engage in thrilling, team-based, multiplayer battles featuring a diverse array of distinctive new Star Wars characters.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering, design, user experience, product and analytics teams to identify needs and work to specifications to implement rendering solutions in Unreal Engine for mobile and Nintendo Switch Write well crafted, efficient and testable code in C++ and HLSL/GLSL for Metal, Vulkan, OpenGL and DirectX Tackle problems across rendering, optimization, tooling development, and making beautiful visuals run smoothly on a wide range of devices Bring a proven understanding of algorithms, design patterns, debugging and memory/performance optimization Strive for excellence in software craftsmanship, and collaborate with peers to improve software design Grow with the business; stretch yourself and learn new skills and domains Have fun; we’re making games

Required Skills and Experience

Developed and released multiple games as a C++ mobile, console or PC software game developer Familiarity with complexities of shipping games to Android & iOS devices on different chipsets and hardware specifications Experience with games as service and live operations Strong C++ and shader language programming and debugging experience Experience working with current graphics algorithms and hardware Expertise with debugging a wide range of graphical issues Developed and released two or more games with Unreal Engine, as a Senior Graphics Engineer or Experienced Graphics Engineer Excellent problem solving and strong interpersonal skills
