Job Summary

Anord Mardix a Flex Company are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world’s largest companies.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Technical Engineer - Modular located in Blackburn, England. Technical Engineer – Modular Key roles and Responsibilities: To view and approve drawings including assisting with the design / development and submittals of technical aspects of specifications; To help provide technical direction in product design and to facilitate project execution; Proactive risk identification and recognise system deficiencies and implement effective technical solutions; To help create and execute modular solution work plans/ schedules alongside the projects team and project engineers and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements; To assist with the coordination of modular projects as required; To assist with all technical aspects of modular projects as required; To assist with strategic development of the technology and design of modular solutions; To assist and plan the Testing of power pods with the Commissioning Manager to and ensure the quality control of the final products; Minimising exposure and risk throughout the project; To report to the Technical Manager – Modular Solutions; Skills and Qualification Requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious with a high standard of attention to detail. They must be able to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and pressurised environment and demonstrate flexibility; Preferably an engineer, with proven knowledge and experience in LV Switchgear and Modular Solutions; Data Centre experience is desirable; Current and relevant ECS card; Eligible to work in UK.
