WHAT TO EXPECT

In this mechanical / electrical role you will have the opportunity to join a highly skilled and dynamic maintenance team and contribute to the maintaining of world class facilities to maximise manufacturing efficiencies. You will provide first line engineering maintenance support to a local maintenance operational team in FA2 Trim & Final Assembly Operations and support Solihull ASRS when required. This role will also support the team in adhering to standards and processes, roles and responsibilities, ensuring the highest delivery standards are achieved. The individual will also be required to participate in problem solving, delivering root cause analysis to ensure sustained improvements in business performance.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Assist your maintenance team in the recovery of complex breakdowns, acting as the Mechanical Electrical Engineer under the Maintenance Group Leader Participate in scheduled maintenance, break down response, lean improvements and permanent fixes while concentrating focus on bottlenecks/constraints Analyse performance data and create plans to improve facility high hurts through effective root cause analysis Participate in support ASRS when needed. Assisting with multiple conveyors, crane and robotic depalletization system Complete and document Preventive Maintenance inspections on assigned line as assigned by the maintenance leadership team. Recommend and implement continuous improvement on equipment/systems design Maintain a good working relationship with associates on all shifts within all departments, while supporting plant and departmental goals and vision

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Knowledge and Experience Conversant with high-speed automation Warehouse system knowledge and system overview Scheduling/sequenced systems Roller beds, Drop Sections & Conveyor systems Conversant with PRB rollers, belts and weigh bridges Knowledge of scanners and safety fields
