Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: Are you seeking a job that offers variety and is satisfying? Do you enjoy working with people and want to make a real difference? We currently have casual/relief opportunities for caring, enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our support team in East Kilbride. A UK driving licence is essential for this role.You will be required to work in a flexible and customer-led manner that meets needs and preferences of people we support, enabling them to live the life they choose.
This role will be supporting a gentleman with acquired brain injury in his home and daily life.
This will be primarily social activities support however does include some light housekeeping duties.
Hours available will generally be during the following times - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 11.30am - 6pm, Saturday 12pm-5pm
The hours may vary on occasion depending on if there is planned activity, for example a music gig. We are seeking applications from those who also enjoy activities, the gentleman we support likes swimming, chess, drives to the coast, cinema, cooking, museums amongst others. You should have a good sense of humour, commitment and consistency to building a good rapport is essential.
