We are currently working with a specialistmanufacturing business based just outsideMaidstone.

Due to ongoing growth, they areseeking a Stores/Dispatch Operative to join their team on afull-time, permanent basis.

TheStores/Dispatch Operative will allocate materials, fixtures andfittings to the Production team. They will also assist inprocessing goods-in-stock, helping with stocktake duties and movingmaterials/products between the productionhalls.

Key Duties:

*Responsible for managing the inbound process of goodsinwards
* Ensure accurate stock systems records aremaintained
* Assisting with annual stock take
*Issuing stock internally, whilst maintaining storage disciplines,systems and records
* Packing of goods for shipment tocustomer sites
* Checking each item when packing for anyvisual defects, and highlighting these defects to the Qualityteam.
* Following all packing instructions provided onthe Works Order
* Liaising with Dispatch Dept confirmingorder completion
* Assisting team members with organisingand maintaining stocks of packingmaterials

EssentialSkills:

* At least 1 year's transferableexperience
* Computer literate - strong IT skills,ideally ERP system experience
* Capable of effectivemulti-tasking
* Attention to detail essential
*Team player possessing good interpersonal skills with the abilityto communicate at all levels
* Physically fit, due to thefact there is some lifting required
