Anexciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced SENCO at aprestigious school in Kensington & Chelsea. Lead and managethe provision for SEN students working closely with staff parentsand external agencies to ensure that all students receive thesupport they need tosucceed.

With afocus on providing exceptional support for students with specialeducational needs the school is seeking a passionate SENCO to leadtheir SEN provision and work collaboratively with a dedicated teamofprofessionals.
Responsibilities:
- Leadand manage the provision for students with special educationalneeds ensuring that all students receive appropriate and tailoredsupport.
- Develop and implement IndividualEducation Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers parents andexternal agencies.
- Work closely with staff tosupport the identification assessment and monitoring of SENstudents.
- Coordinate with external agenciessuch as educational psychologists speech and language therapistsand other professionals to ensure holistic support forstudents.
- Monitor the progress of SEN studentsand adapt strategies to ensure continued development andsuccess.
- Provide guidance and training toteaching staff on effective SEN strategies and bestpractices.
- Ensure compliance with SENlegislation and school policies maintaining accurate records andreports.
Experience andQualifications:
- QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS) with a SENCO qualification or significantexperience working in an SENCO role.
- Strongknowledge of SEN legislation and best practices in SENprovision.
- Excellent communication andleadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively withstaff parents and external agencies.
- Experiencein developing and implementing Individual Education Plans(IEPs).
- A compassionate and studentcenteredapproach to education.
- A DBS check isrequired.
