Rateof Pay: 14.00 17.31 per Hour

Summary:

• The Fleet Department is looking for BankDrivers & Bank Passenger Assistants to join our team. Bankstaff provide cover for when our permanent staff are absent throughholidays sickness or other reasons.
• Regularwork is available and in some cases staff may be able to work up to25 hours per week although this is not guaranteed. Full trainingwill be given and we also supply uniform and allowances forequipment.

Responsibilities:

• We are looking for enthusiastic andcompassionate individuals to safely transport clients and pupilsusing council minibuses and tail lift equipped vehicles to and fromvarious day centre schools and other establishments asrequired.
• Our Fleet Transport team providessafe efficient transport for a range of residents. They includeolder people those with disabilities and children with specialneeds. The service allows these people to access educational andday care facilities helping to make Central Bedfordshire a greatplace to work and live.

Requirements:

• For drivers you need a category D1 drivinglicence but you dont need previous experience to be considered foreither of these roles. However you must be prepared to provide acaring reliable service. You need to be patient understanding andaware of issues surrounding disability dementia and specialneeds.
