Position:Bookkeeper Independent Firm of CharteredAccountants

TPFRecruitment is partnering with an independent firm of charteredaccountants located near Reigate who are seeking a skilledBookkeeper to join their team. With a minimum of 2 years ofaccountancy practice experience ideally holding an AAT Level 3qualification as a minimum this role offers a salary ranging from27000 to 32000 depending onexperience.

RoleandResponsibilities:

  • Performdaytoday bookkeeping duties for clients including processinginvoices bank reconciliations and managing accounts payable andreceivable.
  • PrepareVAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRCregulations.
  • Assistwith the preparation of management accounts and financialstatements.
  • Communicateeffectively with clients and colleagues to resolve queries andprovide support asneeded.
  • Useaccounting software effectively to maintain accurate records andstreamlineprocesses.


Requirements

WhatWeRequire:

  • Minimumof 2 years experience working in an accountancypractice.
  • IdeallyAAT Level 3 qualification orequivalent.
  • Strongunderstanding of bookkeeping principles andpractices.
  • Proficiencyin accounting software such as Xero QuickBooks orSage.
  • Excellentattention to detail andaccuracy.
  • Effectivecommunication skills both written andverbal.
  • Abilityto work independently and as part of ateam.
  • Enthusiasmfor learning and professionaldevelopment.
