Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

Conduct dimensional inspections of raw and machined components during various stages of manufacture  Perform non-destructive testing methods (NDT) according to your qualifications and training  Sign off operations and tasks deemed acceptable during the inspection process  Investigate and raise non-conformances identified during the inspection process  Provide instructions for re-works to be undertaken  Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continual improvement 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

HNC or equivalent in mechanical engineering  Relevant experience within a related industry  Knowledge of health and safety requirements  Experience using measuring equipment  NDT experience/qualifications are advantageous but not essential  Good general PC skills, including Excel, Word  Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change  Excellent attention to detail
