Job Advert (External)

Main Responsibilities

·Maintenance of a wide range of equipment and routine servicing, including fault identification, analysis to facilitate repairs, improvements, inspections, adjustments, testing and refurbishments to agreed standards.

·Work closely with the charge hand fitter to help provide support on several Engineering contracts.

·General maintenance and refurbishment

·Adherence to all Company Health and Safety standards and actively promote safe working practices on the use of machinery and equipment.

Qualifications and Experience

NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance (or equivalent). An appropriate and valid CSCS/ CSR card (Desirable) Full clean driving licence (Essential) Previous experience in line with the duties above (Essential). Experience and knowedge of working in a workshop environment, plant, heavy vehicle or farming background (Essential). Experience of working on telehandlers, excavators, hydraulic systems, fabricating and welding (Essential). Counterbalance forklift licence (Desirable). High level of mechanical skills, diagnostic and fault-finding skills (Desirable). Hydraulic Crawler Crane experience (Desirable).

The successful candidates primary place of work will be Head Office in Dunmurry. However, due to the nature of the role will be expected to travel to construction sites, Company fixed locations or other locations as requested by the Logistics Manager in NI and throughout Great Britain and ROI.
