As our team has grown we have opportunities for contract Principal Process Engineers to become members of our friendly, supportive, and creative engineering team to work on an exciting project in our Nuclear sector.

 

What you will do

  • Perform the role of process lead on a project in the nuclear sector.
  • Produce process engineering design deliverables (including PFDs, P&IDs, heat and mass balance calculations, datasheets, specifications, schedules, calculations)
  • Contribute to safety reviews and other risk assessments.
  • Checking of process deliverables to ensure engineering designs meet appropriate quality and compliance controls, project brief and customer requirements.
  • Reviewing vendor quotations and liaising with equipment and package vendors
  • Utility system specification, design, and capacity evaluation
  • Checking of piping design documents, including checking isometrics and layout drawings
  • Assist in plant layout development
  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary members of the design team to deliver safe, efficient, and buildable solutions

 

Requirements

Non-Negotiable

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Experience in the nuclear fuel handling sector
  • Have experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams
  • Currently hold Security Clearance or eligible to pass criteria for Security Clearance.

Desirable

  • Chartered Engineer Status
