Occupational Therapist – Older People Service

The shift pattern for this position is Mon-Sun.
We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Older People Services team, RAH.
Responsibilities are:
To provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and rehabilitation to older people in Clyde, Patient centred MDT working and to be actively involved in supporting staff and students.You will be professionally supported by a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist to focus on both personal and service development to drive the OT/OPS service forward in line with Board and RCOT objectives.
You must be flexible, enthusiastic, innovative and a team player with well-developed communication skills.
Essential:
A Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy. Current registration with the HCPC Experience working in the clinical area and evidence of relevant post graduate courses/ CPD.This post requires Disclosure Scotland check.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
