 We currently have several permanent vacancies to join our teams based at Madras College, St Andrews or Bell Baxter, Cupar. All posts are Monday to Friday, working 15 or 20 hours per week term time 38-week contracts as required. 

Mobile Catering Assistant 

20 hours per week, 38-week or 52-week contracts (as required 4 hours per day between 9:00am to 2:45pm) 15 hours per week, 38-week or 52-week contracts (as required 3 hours per day between 9:00am to 2:45pm)

These positions involve covering in various schools within the area for annual leave, training courses or absence. Travel expenses are paid for these posts.

We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.00 per hour for this post

You will earn a competitive salary of £22,525.71 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

£12.00 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends. Pay is every 4 weeks and annualised for 38-week contracts. Access to and support with a training opportunities and qualifications for the job. Local and national discounts including supermarkets, restaurants, and retail Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland). Generous holiday allowance.

This work is about providing customer service, ensuring pupils and staff receive hot or cold meals every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference whether its Breakfast Club, Morning Break or Lunch you have served. On the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate.

The Person

Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.

Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
