Events Sales & Planning Executive

Join our team as a Event Sales & Planning Executive where you will oversee all short lead events from enquiry stage to planning and final details. The role involves responding to all short lead email enquiries to establish client requirements before crafting custom proposals, converting the business and communicating final details to the operational events team. This is a fast paced role which involves managing multiple tasks where you will have a significant impact on the achievement of events sales targets.

In return the role of Event Sales & Planning Executive offers £25,000 per annum, plus a sales bonus incentive worth another £2500 per year (paid out quarterly), free meals, an annual complimentary stay with dinner at a De Vere Hotel, plus additional stays for just £50 and a paid day off for your birthday, to name just a few

Your skills and experience:
• This role would really suit someone with experience in event sales, planning and co-ordination.
• You are confident and able to forge strong working relationships and create genuine connections with colleagues and guests through your excellent communication skills
• You are confident using IT software - familiarity with Opera software would be beneficial but is not essential as training can be provided
• Most of all, you will share our values such as being graciously warm, demonstrating a genuine approach, anticipating guest needs and ensuring every detail is considered
